The team at Offshore Powerboats are all motorboat users and sailors. They have between them many decades' experience of sailing, racing and long & short distance cruising under both sail and power.

Offshore Powerboats was founded in 1981 by Christopher Harridge, Managing Director. As a youngster he was a title winning dinghy sailor and has covered many thousands of miles in all types of motor yachts and taken part in many sailing yacht races.

Chris Harridge relaxes - when work permits - by cruising and racing his lovingly maintained vintage gaff rigger "Simba". Well known throughout the local Marine community, Chris, through Offshore Powerboats, also supports the local Sea Scouts swimming team.

Chris is supported by Lyn Parker, Adrian Hamilton and Brett Sawyer. Lyn is the company's administrator and accountant and has worked within the industry since 1988 for both sailboat and power boat distributors. Adrian is a bright member of the team and is more than willing to assist everyone. Quick to learn, he is now a valuable member of our team. Brett is our newest member, who has joined us with the skills of advanced powerboat handling, boat repairs and preparation under his belt, making him an asset to the powerboat sales team.

Customer Service Manager Richard Bryant has been with Offshore Powerboats since 1990. He was previously a professional yacht skipper in the Mediterranean on a beautiful big Riva, amongst others, which offered an excellent grounding for the preparation of new and used boats to a very high standard. His knowledge of Nimbus boats is second to none! Richard's commissioning and handover of the boats is very thorough, helping you to understand every part of your new Nimbus boat.

Steve Lane is the "hands on" After-Sales Manager. Steve is a time-served shipwright with a history building lifeboats and Nelson Designs amongst others, and with his valuable skills he completes our team. When time allows Steve also enjoys charging around the Solent in a big RIB.
